THE QATAR YOU DON'T KNOW AND THE MODERN DAY BABYLON.

 

   Are the things you hear about Qatar all true or is it some of them or is there some truth in it or is it just a little too exaggerated with some lime and nasty tastes and odors. 

 Have you heard about the say " That if you want to be the big short, you have to take down the big guy in the building." Well Qatar is the modern day Babylon, if you are not aware of the story of Babylon you might want to read the "Richest man in Babylon".

  I may be tempted to get in the details of the book but that would only change the topic focus of this publication. Well that settles it, to go back years back before I was in Qatar 5 years to be presice. I read the book for the first time in 2012 and I sort to find if there can be a modern day Babylon.

  And to my surprise I found one but the information in Wikipedia was so misleading, that it made it seem impossible to get into the modern day Babylon "Qatar". I sort to visit it and see for myself to cut the story short after 5years of business. I packed sort a job in the modern Day Babylon and within the shortest time. I found a job with a prominent and well known international company. 

   When I arrived I was surprised to see the country and the notion in my mind, excluding the Wikipedia now depending on the information I had sort from people in the country. And the Modern Day Babylon was awesome and you could build yourself to join the party. Alas! If you were starting at my entry level you had to face some issues.

   Though it's the cost of success, but there is a way it's done and that is keep bettering yourself and improve your skills. It's not a  surprise to see people with same skills asking for a raise, improve your skills and get a raise. And I have to mention this one of my managers told me that it's not a must I get a promotion from my current employer.

    So to speak if you need a better life and a good pay you have to improve your skills. And you can't work as a janitor with a degree and ask for a raise to a degree level janitor change you job description.

   And since I am in an Arab country I ought to mention the story of "Alibaba and the 40 thieves" in reality if you did that it's a crime. You must improve for your situation to improve.
